🔨 Contractors

An answering service for contractors on the tools.

On a roof, under a floor, behind the wheel, next to a saw. The phone rings at the worst moment and the job goes to whoever picks up. Answello picks up for you, takes the job details and texts them to you, and you pay for it once.

Why contractors miss the calls that matter

Not because they don’t care. Because the work is physical, the hands are full and the site is loud. A homeowner with a leaking roof or a failed breaker rarely leaves a voicemail; they ring the next number. Work out what that costs you with four figures you already know.

What you get from each call

  • A text with the job: who rang, the number read back so it is right, where they are and what they need.
  • Urgent calls marked, so the emergency stands out from the quote that can wait until the evening.
  • The recording and transcript in your dashboard, for when the details matter.
  • Your CRM updated if you want it: each call can go to GoHighLevel, a webhook or an inbox.

Your phone still rings first. Answello only takes what you were going to miss: after four rings, out of hours, or when you are already on a call. It tells every caller it is an assistant.

One licence, every trade you run

Plenty of contractors run more than one name: a roofing brand and a gutter brand, or heating alongside plumbing. Each gets its own number, greeting and script, all on one payment. Nights and weekends are covered too; see after-hours answering.

Questions people ask

Which contractors is it for?

Anyone who works with their hands and loses jobs to voicemail: roofers, electricians, plumbers, heating and cooling firms, builders, landscapers, painters and handymen. The script is yours, so it asks what your trade needs to know.

Do I need a new number?

No. You forward your existing number to Answello when you don’t answer, when you are busy or when the phone is off. Your van, cards and listings stay as they are.

Can it book the job?

No. It takes a clear message, marks the urgent ones and texts you, so you call back and book it yourself.

I don’t want to deal with a server. Can you set it up?

Yes. For $895, paid once, we install it, connect your numbers and write your script with you. Or we can look after it for $119 a month, and you can cancel that whenever you like.

Keep working. It picks up.

One payment, every trade you run, and nothing to us every month.
