These are the terms you agree to when you use this website or buy Answello. Please read them before you buy.
1. Who we are
Answello is a product of Tradiant LLC, a company registered in Georgia. Contact: hello@answello.com.
2. What we sell
We sell a licence to use Answello, an AI telephone answering system you install on your own server, together with its complete source code. You are buying a permanent right to use and modify your copy. You are not buying the copyright, and you are not buying a hosted service — we do not run anything on your behalf unless you separately ask us to. The full licence is in the LICENCE.txt file inside the download, and section 4 below summarises it.
Three things can appear on your invoice:
- The licence and the code — a one-off payment. You install it yourself.
- Installation — a one-off payment for us to install and connect it for you, and to write your call script with you.
- Looked after — an optional monthly plan where we keep your installation running. Cancel any time; the software keeps working without it.
3. Buying and payment
Payments are taken through our own checkout. Tradiant LLC is the seller and merchant of record, and is the name shown on your receipt. Card payments are processed by Stripe, whose terms apply to the card transaction itself. Any sales tax or VAT due is calculated and charged at checkout.
Prices are shown in US dollars. After payment you receive a download and a licence key by email, normally within one working day.
4. What your licence lets you do
There are two licences. The one you bought is named on your invoice and in the LICENCE.txt file supplied with the software.
Single Company Licence. Install and run Answello on any number of servers owned or rented by your own company, for as many of your own brands, businesses and telephone numbers as you like. There is no per-site fee, no per-number fee and no per-user fee, now or ever. Change the code however you wish for your own use, and put your own branding on your own installation.
Agency Licence. Everything above, and in addition you may install and run Answello for your clients, rebranded as your own service, and charge them what you like for it. You stay responsible to us for every installation you make, and you must not hand your clients the source code.
Your licence does not expire. You may keep using your copy even if we stop trading, and cancelling any optional plan does not switch it off. Software you have bought never stops working.
5. What your licence does not let you do
This is the part that matters to us, so it is written plainly. You may not:
- Pass on the code. Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, publish, distribute or give away the source code we wrote — modified or not, for money or not, as a product, template, starter kit, course, bundle or repository.
- Claim you wrote it. You may brand your own installation however you like. You may not claim authorship of the code, and you may not offer it to other people as your own product.
- Run it as a public service. Operating Answello as a sign-up service open to the general public competes with us and is not allowed on either licence. Running it for your own named clients is what the Agency Licence is for.
- Strip the notices. Remove or hide
LICENCE.txt, the copyright notices in the code, or the third-party notices file. - Share your copy. Your download link, licence key and files stay inside your company.
Breaking any of these ends your licence immediately and you must delete every copy of our code. Your own data stays yours. Nothing else ends your licence — not cancelling support, not cancelling updates, not a disagreement about a payment already made.
If you want to do something this section forbids, ask us. We are reasonable, and an Agency Licence usually costs less than you expect.
6. Open-source parts
Answello is built on open-source software, which stays under its own licences. These are listed in the third-party notices file supplied with the product. Section 5 binds the parts we wrote. It cannot take away any right an open-source licence already gives you over the open-source parts.
7. What it costs to run, and who pays it
Answello needs a telephone number, an AI provider and a server. Those accounts are opened in your name and billed directly to you by those companies. We add no markup and take no commission on them. We cannot control their prices and we are not responsible if they change them.
8. Telephone calls are your responsibility
This one matters more than the rest, so please read it properly.
Answello answers, records and transcribes telephone calls. The law on recording calls, and on telling people they are speaking to a machine, is different in every country and in some places different in every state. You decide where it runs, what number it answers, and what it says. Making sure that is lawful where you and your callers are is your job, not ours.
You also agree not to use Answello to make unsolicited marketing calls, to run automated outbound dialling campaigns, or to deceive anyone into believing they are speaking to a person. Answello announces itself as an assistant by default. Removing that is a breach of these terms.
9. Support and updates
30 days of setup support is included from the day you buy. After that, support is available at our published rate or through the Looked after plan.
12 months of updates are included. After that, updates are available through an optional renewal. Your licence does not stop working if you do not renew — you simply stay on the version you have.
Support covers Answello as we supply it. It does not cover changes you have made to the code, your server, your hosting provider, your telephone provider or your AI provider.
10. Refunds
Because you receive the complete source code the moment you buy, sales are final once the files have been downloaded.
If you have not downloaded the files, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund. Write to hello@answello.com.
If you bought installation and we have not started the work, that part is refundable in full. Once we have begun, it is not.
The Looked after plan is monthly. Cancel any time and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part months.
If you are buying as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right to change your mind about digital content. You lose that right once the download begins, provided you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right at checkout. Nothing in these terms removes any right the law gives you.
11. Your data
Everything Answello records is yours — your calls, your recordings, your transcripts, your customers’ details, your changes and your branding. Answello runs on your server. While a licence key is saved, it downloads our public list of withdrawn licence keys from pay.tradiant.net once a day. That request carries no call data, recordings or customer data — like any request on the internet, it shows our server your server’s IP address. Nothing else is sent to us. See our Privacy Policy for what we hold about you as a customer.
12. Using this website
Please do not attempt to break into this website, disrupt it, or use it to send anyone anything unlawful. The text, images and branding on it belong to us.
13. No warranty
Answello is provided “as is”. We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise it will be free of faults or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours. In particular, we cannot promise that every call will be answered, that every word will be understood correctly, or that the telephone and AI services it depends on will always be available.
You are responsible for your own server, your own backups, and for testing Answello before you rely on it.
14. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for lost business, lost profit, missed calls, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. If we change them materially we will update the date at the top.
16. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
Questions about any of this: hello@answello.com.
